Career day Presentations

Do you have a career goal right now?  If so, what is it?
If not, what are you doing to find out what you are going to do career-wise?
Do you have a job now? If so where?  Describe the job.
If you are not working now will you be working over the summer?  If so where?  Describe the job.
What are you going to do after you graduate high school?  You won't be coming here 5 days a week anymore, so what are you going to do?



Career day for me was helpful because it got me thinking on what i plan on doing after high school.
The presentation i liked the most was where they talked to us about going  to job interviews and how to dress properly for and interview of a job from following these tips there are more chances of u getting the job than you would going wearing what you usually wear on the regular bases. The presentation i did not like was the one where they talked about electricity that really didn't get my attention because i am not interested in that at all and the presenters were to slow at talking and didn't get your attention well at least not mine. Right now i'm undecided on my career goal because after high school i don't know if i should go to a community college or a trade school.

I think one way to help teens is by putting things out there such as opportunities in like joining clubs that are appropriate for teens. For example They should do a club where Teen girls should go and see how it will really turn to be a mother at a young age. So they can realize that having a kid at a young age isn't as easy as they expect. School should have classes to make them realize whats right between bad and good. Because the things now a days aren't what people expect and it's really turning out bad. Which will make life harder for young adults growing up and doing all these things that aren't right.

Write a blog post about one thing (school appropriate) that interests you, something that you really like.  Describe this thing (band, sport, hobby, movie, tevision show, video game, etc.) and all the reasons why you like it.

One thing I really like to do is hanging out with friends. When i hangout with my friends we go to different places like the movies the mall or the park it all depends what each and one of us want to do for example we'll all go to the movies when everyone has cash or want to see a new movie or when we want to do exercise we all go play soccer at Fairview Park we go around six and stop playing around eight. When we want to chill and gather up we all meet up at the mall with everyone to walk around or buy things. Thats what i really like doing.

Assignment - 5 My time at BBHS

Back Bay High School

     I'm attending BBHS because i'm behind credits i didn't attend school as i was supposed to at CMHS. When i first started coming here it was really different. It was not what i expected it to be like. Everything was different. Most of the people that went to my home school were here. I also didn't do any of my HW.

     I didn't attend school as i was supposed to at CMHS. I was always late or absent. I was to lazy to attend school or I just didn't feel like going at all to me school wasn't me thing. i wouldn't care if i would go or not. i didn't think it would affect me through out the school yr. I would ditch so many times a week. Later towards the end of the school yr. I faced the consequences which weren't so good. 

     This school is nothing like CMHS. It's way smaller and t heres less people. Not only in the school but the classroom sizes are way smaller than there would be at a regular HS. Everyone here practically know each other and at Mesa since theres so many some people don't even know who they are or don't know each other at all. You get more attention when the classes are smaller rather than having a big group of students.

    So after all i went through when i barely got here it all started to get better and easier more understanding. The teachers here understand you more than the teachers at the other schools.

One thing i enjoy doing is listening to music. Music is one of the things i can't be without it motivates me to get the things done quickly and it also helps me concentrate more on what i have to get done.
